Southern Travels Office – Islamabad

Presenting to you our first all glass office building. This eco friendly office features a post tensioned slab resting on 4 sheer walls, thus negating the requirement for a conventional load bearing wall. The cantilevered floor and roof slab enables the building to float and the all glass facade gives it a transparent and light-as-air feeling. Amenities have been pushed into a separate building to enhance workplace efficiency. The site uses the pond to cool down east-west winds before impacting the envelope of the building. Semi covered landscape areas have been provided to increase workplace efficiency as the employees break for lunch or tea.
